Dear Community Supporter,
Friends of Mandarin Scholars (FMS) will hold its 7th annual Gala on Saturday, March 16, 2019, at the Hilton in Burlingame, California. Please help us celebrate the continued growth of San Mateo-Foster City School District’s Mandarin Immersion programs.
Established in 2011, FMS has played a significant role in the quality of the K-8 Mandarin Immersion Magnet programs at College Park Elementary School and Bayside STEM Academy. We raise critical funds for:
- Teaching assistants to support individualized learning
- Before and after school homework help
- Professional development for Mandarin teachers
- Classroom materials and computer applications
You can contribute to the continued success of these programs in our community with a cash sponsorship. Your business will be featured in the Gala program booklet, throughout the event, and on our school-wide social media. Alternatively, you can make a donation of items to be offered in the silent or live auction. Items and experiences with a retail value of $1,000 or more will be featured in our live auction at the event. With over 300 Gala attendees and 1,000 families at the schools, you will have great visibility to a large number of potential clients in the San Mateo area.
