SAVE THE DATE—Friends of Mandarin Scholars (FMS) is hosting its 5th annual Fundraising Gala on Saturday, March 4, 2017 at an exciting new venue–Domenico Winery in San Carlos, CA.
This is our largest fundraiser of the year! It will be a fun-filled evening of lively auction action, dinner and dancing. This is all to raise money to help support the Mandarin Immersion programs at College Park Elementary School and Bayside STEM Academy Middle School.
In preparation for this big event, we have already sent out 100+ letters to potential donors, but you can help build our auction offerings. Popular auction items include: restaurant gift cards, camps for kids during the intersession and summer breaks, admission tickets and hotel accommodation packages.
Spread the word! Copies of the attached PDF letter are available in the school office. Here are some ways you can help:
1). Pick up a few copies of the donation letter and distribute to businesses you frequent;
2). If you are sending your kids to a camp this intersession break, ask if they can donate a week of camp for the spring or summer breaks;
3). If you are staying at a resort, give a copy of the donation letter to the front desk;
4). Lastly, if you have a business contact that you think may be interested in making an auction donation or placing an ad, please forward their contact info to sponsorship@mandarinscholars.org or forward the attached PDF to them.
