As you’re all aware by now, Friends of Mandarin Scholars is hosting its 3rd Annual Lunar Year Gala on February 21st at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Foster City, CA from 6pm -11pm. It will be a blast and we hope to see there!
Tables of 10 are available for $750 and allow you to determine with whom you sit. If purchasing an individual ticket at $85, we will do our very best to accommodate seating requests, but cannot make guarantees.
Entrée Options Include:
- Breast of Chicken with Korean Spices
Red Wine Braised Boneless Beef Short Ribs
Grilled Mahi Mahi with Tropical Mango Salsa and Lemon Beurre Blanc Sauce
Grilled Butternut Squash Risotto Cakes
Like last year, we’d like as many teachers and staff in attendance as possible. Many came and we hope to increase that number this year. Your generosity made it possible and we’re hoping for your continued support in getting them out en masse to celebrate the New Year with us.
**Tip – If you’d like to avoid Eventbrite fees, please feel free to drop a check in the FMS lockbox, and include the completed attached Gala Order Form with your guest names and entree selections.
Childcare
Kicks Taekwondo in San Mateo will once again offer childcare. They are a great option and as a bonus this year will offer martial arts training in addition to a number of other fun activities. For 6 hours of care (5:30pm – 11:30pm), Kicks is charging $50/per child. A sibling discount of $40 is offered as well. Food and drinks will be provided.
